Meet Duggee and JJ!
Meet Duggee – the big, lovable dog from the hit Cbeebies series ‘Hey Duggee’. He will be up the Tower to meet and greet at various times on Wednesday April 5 and Thursday April 6 – don’t forget to bring your camera! JJ from Cocomelon will also be at the tower on Wednesday April 12 and Thursday April 13 at various times for a meet and greet – he can’t wait to see you!

Power up the Tower
We’re hosting an exciting charity event – ‘Power up the Tower’ for the RNLI lifeboat charity. Join us on the evening of Friday April 28 from 7pm and climb the 530 (560 for elite runners) steps to the top of the Tower!
Sweat Ltd are hosting this challenge in official partnership with the RNLI and £5 from every ticket sale will be donated to this fantastic cause. Whether you’re a keen runner, running for charity, a challenge or just for fun, the Tower Run is a unique and unforgettable event. Get your tickets here.
Mary Rose 4D theatre
While you’re at the Historic Dockyard, why not pop into the brand-new Mary Rose 4D theatre? Get creative and complete a Mary Rose Diver colouring sheet for the chance to win a giant Easter Egg. The competition is running from April 1, with the winner announced at 12pm on Easter Sunday – April 9.
You can also uncover fascinating facts and learn more about the equipment used to dig up the Mary Rose and its artefacts in this show and tell experience. Delve deep into the divers’ encounter with the ship – what was in their bags and how were the items used to uncover the rare, fragile artefacts? There’s even the chance to handle the actual tools used during the excavation of the ship!
This experience is running from April 1 until April 16 at the Mary Rose museum in the Historic Dockyard.
New Theatre Royal
Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved Tales from Acorn Wood are coming to the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth Guildhall. Watch their story come to life on stage in this charming tale of the animals of Acorn Wood, accompanied by songs and puppetry.
This performance is suitable for children of all ages and takes place at 2pm on April 11. 10am and 1:30pm on April 12. Get your tickets here.
